Purple House - Lavender exposition with a shop and distillery

In the centre of the village we saved the dilapidated building of the former municipal office and fire station. In order to let all visitors know that lavender is grown here in the village, we painted the facade purple and the building became an eye-catching landmark that you cannot miss when entering Bezděkov. In the former offices of the municipal building you can now visit an interesting Lavender exhibition with beautiful photographs from lavender weddings and previous years of the Lavender Festival, you can also learn about our beginnings, of growing lavender and finally you can see paintings by the talented local painter Maruška Janoščáková.

From the firehouse we have built a small lavender shop where you can buy some of the lavender products we produce here on the farm. Next to the shop is a distillery room where we distill the lavender we harvest each season to create our fragrant lavender oil and flower water.
A visit to the distillery is part of guided tours of the farm.
